Oak Valley Resort

Over Chusok holiday, we ventured to the Oak Valley Resort which is near Wonju. It is a nice place with something like 4 different golf courses (both public and private). It is actually a ski resort that is also golf and other activities in the summer. It was pretty deserted during the holiday which was quite nice.

All the kids enjoyed the playground.

Kacy & Sara enjoyed the coin rides, even if it just meant sitting and pretending. And we also got some bikes to ride.

Then there was swimming which the girls always love!

...and bowling!

Everybody got into it...

Sara loves to ride on Mommy & Daddy's back.

And then on the last day, we found an air castle for a little festival they had at the resort for the holiday. It was huuuugggeee!

Kacy & Hayley did a little flying in the bungee butterfly. They both enjoyed it immensely. I must say that we thought Kacy would get scared but she had a great time.

Our Happy Family

We have been slack on making recent posts to our blog. We'll try to pick up the pace. Below are some recent pictures of our happy little family. Life is busy here at the beginning of the school, but it has been productive.

Kacy continues to love preK and her new friends. Sara will be 2 at the end of October although she thinks she is going on 3. She currently loves to read books. Although still a parrot by all standards, she is getting a wider vocabulary and much more original and self-initiated in her continual commentary on the world.

Kacy is beginning to love to read books to Sara. They are quite the duo. We have started Sara young on her love for the Tarheels.
