Easter this year was beautiful. We have had a pretty cold spring so it was nice to have a somewhat decent day. We spent Saturday evening dying easter eggs and re-telling the "Easter Story". The ELC, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade all spent significant amounts of time this year going over the story of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. I was absolutely amazed at the detail that Sara could re-tell the story and the emotion the she used to re-tell this story. Of course all the kids new the details, but it was just amazing what Sara was able to re-tell.The next morning we went to church and celebrated the resurrection of Jesus from the grave. Following church, we had an "all kids" Easter egg hunt outside of church. Following that we went to Grandma and Granddaddy's for Easter lunch and some more egg hunting.
We were really blessed this year to have Lesley and Kenan with us. I know they missed their daddy, but it was fun to have them together with us.
