Denny's 2010

Every summer we reunite with the Denny Family (Steve, Becca, Isaac, Micah, & #3). This summer Becca is pregnant with their third child and is on some restrictions so even though we had a 2 1/2 week old little boy we decided to take him on his first road trip and head to Tennessee. Actually, everything went really well. Ethan did great and it was a great change of pace for Kacy and Sara. The Denny boys, Isaac and Micah, are in between our girls in age and the four of them keep everything hopping. So, here are some pictures of our time in Tennessee. There were some beautiful sites, we really enjoyed the World Fair Park and the Cove...both really nice and free places! Honestly though, I think our girls would have been just as happy to hang out and ride the red car most of the time.

Fun story from our trip...the first day we were there pest control came by and was trying to convince Steve and Becca they needed them to come and spray. Steve and Becca kept saying no. He told them there were all sorts of Black Widows and Brown Recluse spiders in their area. He told them about how their spray was different. They still were not convinced...and then he sold them. How did he do it...he found a Black Widow Spider in their drain. Then he found another one. He showed them the spiders and then told them about how posionous the spiders are. Suddenly the initial cost didn't seem quite so high...especially if they got rid of those spiders. The question we all have is did they plant those spiders just to sell them or were they already there. We will never know...but hopefully they will be gone!
