Playground Fun!

Kacy is growing up and becoming a big girl! And Sara is big enough to want to copy her and be like her all the time. They are quite fun together. It was funny the other day at a flower shop when the older ladies were wanting to pinch Sara's cheeks as is all too common in Korea. Kacy said "aniyo" (means "no" in Korean) and put her arms around Sara to protect her. Sara is saying more and more things all the time. Some things come out in Korean on occasion but most of her sayings are quite clear.


We had Hat Day in the elementary school today. Sara was surprisingly open to wearing her cute pink hat.

Kacy loves to swing. Sara just wants to be like Kacy. So after 15 minutes, they were finally still at the same time and I was able to take their pictures together with their hats on. Kacy calls hers a hat with the top cut out of it.

Sara is waving to the "odishee" (man) walking by. He proceeded to come over and very politely and kindly say hi. She was a little wary if he got too close but she is getting friendlier.


Sara is walking better all the time. And getting faster. She can know climb up the ladders all the way to the top of the playground by herself and go down the slide by herself. She is so proud of herself when she is at the top of the slide.
