Easter Festivities

Along with the reminder the Jesus was crucified, died, buried, and then rose from the dead there were some other festivities that went along with our Easter. We started on Saturday morning with an Easter Egg Hunt at church. This was Sara's first attempt at hunting eggs and Kacy is now an old pro...although very willing to help her little sis out.

Kacy is ready for the hunt and posing quite nicely.

I think Sara found something, although I don't see it in the picture. I'm sure it was an egg. She was partial to the orange eggs, maybe they were easier to spot.

The kids could each find 10 eggs, Kacy found hers quickly and then decided to help Sara out.

Kacy was showing me what she got. The eggs were all filled with candy.

After the egg hunt, we quickly changed clothes and went to a wedding (for Lloyd Tsui). Here the girls are posing while we wait for the bus.

We generally try to get some nice spring, Easter pictures of our kids and possibly a family picture. However, the weather today was gross...very rainy and cold. Also, if you don't get the picture taken first thing someone always spills. So here are a few of Kacy and Sara at home at the end of the day.
