Sara's B-day!

Sara Emma Price--Happy 3rd Birthday! (October 28th, 2009)

Seriously, October and November are birthday months for our family. Starting mid-October with Darren's b-day, end of October for Sara's, mid-November for Laura's, and finally ending with Kacy at the end of the month. So, needless to say we have a lot of fun and throw a lot of parties.

This past weekend we had Sara's b-day party. When we were in the states this summer she was all about Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...so that was the birthday theme. My mom made the cake and the rest just came together. I read online that the kids were supposed to be "mice" so we had lot of mice like food...cheeseballs, cheese cubes, etc. We also had an all gluten free party which was nice and the people that came said the cake was still delicious! :) In addition to food we played some games.

When the kids first arrived they had a chance to get their nose and cheecks painted so they looked like mice. They also got tatoos, colored, and just ran around having fun. When the activities started we had a scavenger hunt and we pretended that we were cats and hunted for mice with our names on them.

All in all it was a fun party. Mommy and Daddy were especially happy when it was all finished, Sara was tired and retreated inside to escape the people, and Kacy just kept on playing until everyone had left and everything was cleaned up.
