Fire Station Field Trip

We had a fun day today. At least Kacy did. She said so when she was going to bed tonight. We started off with our walk to school.


Then the ELC had a big field trip planned to one of the local fire stations. Sara didn't get to go...too little. I tagged along with Kacy. Mrs. Heather got to try on a fireman's suit.


Some of the kids thought she was a little scary all suited up.


We learned how to shoot a fire extinguisher and got to practice with a water filled one.


We got to try on a cool helmet and sit in a rescue truck with a walkie talkie.


Then we got to see how heavy the hose nozzles are and check out the fire trucks.


And we got to spray a hose. It was quite fun.
