The day started normally. As the day progressed, events turned challenging and yet God's provision and hand at work was evident. And we ended the day feeling blessed.
I traveled to Suwon today and Laura took the girls over to play area to meet with a friend and her kids that are around Kacy & Sara's ages.
After lunch, Laura headed home to find the door jimmied. We proceeded to call school personnel who accompanied Laura into our apartment. Our bedroom was ransacked. It was evident that someone broke in and searched for money and jewelry. They left a mess and took a few items. A challenging day that is very unexpected and unusual in Korea.
This morning I got up and had a little extra time before I had to be at school and proceeded to backup my laptop before the summer. God knew the day's events. He knew they would take the laptop and leave the hard drive sitting there right next to it. I am confident of it. So I walk away from a situation where I have little control and feel blessed that God has provided for us in the midst of challenging circumstances.
[For the record, Kacy and Sara seemed to see the whole series of events with the police and everything else as a grand adventure. Everyone is fine and we are no worse for the wear.]
So the day looked something like our year. It started normal and turned challenging (with Sara's illness) and ended with a feeling of blessing. A good reminder...

Your friends, The Roberts Family.
God was sooo good to you. We thank Him that you did not come home in the midst of the robbery and that all are safe and well.
Hope you get some great time at home this summer...nice modeling debut of Sarah.
Are you going to be the terrorizing holywood parents now?
Have a wonderful vacation!
