Kacy Starts Kindergarten

So, on August 10th, 2009 Kacy started Kindergarten. For some people this is a very emotional day and is the start of a new stage for a kid as well as the family. Although it is the start of a new phase for us, it really wasn't emotional. I'm sure this has something to do with the fact that Kacy has essentially been going to school her whole like and this is just her next year. She actually is closer to me know and I see her more frequently during the day that I used to.

So, since it was also my first day of school, Darren walked Kacy to Mrs. Roberts class. There are 12 kids in her class. Most of them went to Pre-Kindergarten with her. There are two new girls in her class, which Kacy was very excited about.


At the end of the first day when I asked her what she did, she said oh nothing much, we just went to Korean class, music class, and P.E. today. Oh yeah, and we played in our classroom...but I didn't get to play in the kitchen!

All in all, Kacy had a good first day of Kindergarten. She really is growing up before our eyes!

Oh yeah, Sara started another year at the ELC. Even though it is not a change for her she does have a new teacher and changes will come with that. Sara however would not miss up the opportunity to pose for the camera.
