Happy, Happy, Happy!

Sara is a riot these days. In the last week, she has started to say "happy, happy, happy" and clap and grin real big and run around. It is quite funny. Ms. Kim in the ELC says she is singing her happy song. She will now imitate adults to say "fun." Tonight she came in to where Laura and I were at the table and said "help." She proceeded to take me into Kacy's room and then she got down on the floor and looked under Kacy's shelf. I got down and helped her pull a comb out. She grins real big with her version of "thank you" that is more like "taa koo."

Then she goes and pulls out this drum to the middle of our living room. She goes into the bathroom and gets our red Dora stool that we use for the girls to reach the sink and carries it out to the middle of the living room. She gets the colorful maraca we have and then sits down on the stool and begins to play the drum as happy as can be.

She loves to peek around corners and play hide and seek. She is a little different than Kacy. Sara will actually look for you. She thinks finding you is really funny. Then when she hides, she puts her finger to her mouth and says shhhh!

I took her into the office with the Korean staff today. She has been pretty shy with a lot of teachers and students, but she is good friends with all the Korean staff. Ms. Kim takes her on her rounds. She says "achi" which is the kid version of odishee (mister) in Korean. I was told her language development was right on par with other Korean kids.

Sara got her first chocolate brownie the other day--gluten free, of course! She absolutely loved it. She loves to sit down with her bowl of gluten free Gorilla Munch and settle in close to Kacy in the mornings. She is pretty good with a spoon and fork but gets tired of that and resorts to her fingers in the milk as the meal progresses.

Overall, Sara cracks all of us up right now, Kacy included. She also is quite full of herself and finds her own antics entertaining. She is a busy little one!
